Krude Basil Smash Cocktail

What you'll need

  • 8 large basil leaves, plus extra for garnish
  • 15 ml agave syrup
  • ½ tsp Krude Basil Oil, plus extra to finish
  • Pinch flaky sea salt
  • 50ml silver tequila
  • 25ml lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Crushed iced
  • Soda water

Method

  1. Basil leaves into the shaker. Agave, Krude Basil Oil, pinch of salt on top. Muddle lightly to bruise it- you want aroma, not green soup.
  2. Tequila in. Lime juice in. Fill with ice.
  3. Shake hard for 20 seconds - wake it up!
  4. Crushed ice into a rocks glass, then fine strain the cocktail over the top. Keep it clean.
  5. Top with soda water, drizzle with a little more Krude Basil Oil, basil leaves to garnish.
  6. Fresh, herbal, delightful. Drink immediately.
